Overview
Athvin ("we," "our," or "us") provides a fan data platform for college athletic departments. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when athletic departments use our services.
Data we process
Athvin processes fan data on behalf of athletic department clients (our data processors). The data we process includes: fan contact information (names, email addresses, phone numbers, physical addresses), ticketing and purchase history, donation records, email engagement data, and event attendance records.
This data is provided to Athvin by athletic departments through our integration layer. Athvin does not collect fan data directly from fans.
How we use data
We use fan data exclusively to provide our identity resolution and fan record unification services to the athletic department clients who have contracted with us. We do not sell fan data to third parties. We do not use fan data for advertising purposes. We do not share fan data between different athletic department clients.
Data security
All fan data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Our systems are built on Rust, which eliminates entire categories of memory safety vulnerabilities common in other languages. We undergo regular security audits and maintain SOC 2 Type II compliance.
